
In this episode, I trace a path that begins in my childhood in rural Georgia in the mid-to-late 1980s and early 1990s which eventually leads into the deep history of Italian underground, independent and small press comics, or fumetti. On the surface, it’s a story about comics - but really, it’s about how art, circumstance and curiosity helped shaped the way I see the world.
