A quick update on the 9th Feeding Fingers album. On November 14th and 15th, the violinist Marica Filomena Coppola, PhD will be recording violin tracks for the record here in Naples, Italy.
Marica is a dear friend and a longtime collaborator. She’s a violinist and musicologist with a doctorate in History and Analysis of Musical Cultures from La Sapienza University in Rome. Her work as a musicologist has taken her to the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome and the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, among many other places.
Some of you will remember her violin solo on The Firstborn Stands Sedated from the album Attend and her addition on the song, A Happy Lust for Alphabets from the album Do Owe Harm. We’re thrilled to have her back!

This is one of the last big pieces of the new album left to record. After her sessions, there are only a few small fixes and additions and then comes mixing, mastering, album art and everything that follows - pressing, promotion, music video, tour booking...
Help us finish it!
We are still in the middle of raising the money to complete this record: the pressing, the original artwork, post-production and all the rest that goes along with releasing an album. We still need to raise about $2,500.
If you’d like to help, we would really appreciate it if you’d contact us directly via email at: tephramedia@gmail.com
In return, you would receive a revenue share of the physical sales of the album until you make your money back. After that, we would talk about a revenue split going forward. In other words, you help fund the album and earn your investment back over time.
On top of that, everyone who helps will receive a physical copy of the album, a handwritten lyric book and whatever other little goodies we can put together. You’ll also be kept updated every step of the way as the album moves through production.
If that sounds interesting to you, reach out and we’ll talk it through!
I’ll share updates from the sessions as they happen. Thank you, as always, for being here.
